yoga with bren is focused on making yoga accessible through thoughtful & playful virtual yoga classes that are offered with a dynamic pricing model.​

Promoting wellness & education with a regular blog and media content, yoga with bren hopes to break down barriers to practicing yoga by encouraging use of props, modifications and rest; while challenging ourselves to find our inner ability to connect our mind, body & spirit.

Connecting to our breath brings awareness to life, bringing consciousness to the present moment. Breath is our connection to the universe - we share the energy of breath with all life forms, recycling this energy through our body, giving it back to the world.

Being conscious of our breath and practicing how to regulate our energy allows us to find balance...

balance

Life is a continuous balance of dualities - happy/sad, energetic/resting, masculine/feminine, sun/moon, night/day, water/fire... (you get the gist). Being conscious with our breath while connecting to our movement helps us find balance in these dualities, helping us connect our body, mind & spirit.

 

Balancing our energy levels while being present in the moment helps us connect to ourselves, our true thoughts and find a sense of belonging...

A fundamental need for most of us in this world is to feel that we belong. Our life experiences shape us and influence how we look outward & inward, sometimes hindering how we find meaning, unsure if we belong.

Its our belief that yoga should not be exclusive, unapproachable or appropriated. Yoga is a practice accessible to all, practiced in many different ways. These practices are evolving as we learn more about the accessibility needs of our communities and show appreciation for each other. Creating space for everyone to belong.
